1.Using the isothermal transformation diagram(TTT) for a 4340 steel,
determine the final microstructure (in terms of the phases present and
their approximate percentages) when a 4340 specimen is subjected to the
following time-temperature treatment:
Rapidly cool from austenite 650 Celsius degrees, hold for 1000 seconds,
rapidly cool to 400 Celsius degrees, hold for 10000 seconds,
then quench to room temperature.
