Or, University senior or Graduate program first year / second year students in good academic standing, but must commit to work full-time for at least 1 year * Some hands on practical experience on any shop floor / lab / own enterprise * Familiarity with common plastic/metal materials and electronic components * Curious about the world around us and detailed oriented * English capable * Team player JOB DESCRIPTION * Conduct systematic product cost analysis across a wide range of products (E.g. Smartphone, solar inverter and ) - Perform tear down exercise clearly according to guidelines and framework - Document the tear down process - Estimate material and manufacturing cost (e.g. material prices, machinin / tooling cost and labor cost) - Generate cost reduction / value enhancing ideas * Assessment and in depth analysis of available tear down reports from other sources * Produce overall report and prepare discussion in debrief customers on cost analysis findings This is a FULL TIME contractor position for at least ONE YEAR.
