1. The velocity field is u=2x, v=0, w=0.
(a) Find the path line as function of time for the particle A, which is
located at x=1 when t=0.
(b) Compute the acceleration of particle A at t=2 by the Lagrangian method.
(c) Compute the acceleration of particle A at t=2 by the Eulerian method.

2. A container partially filled with a liquid. The container is moving from
left to right on a straight horizontal path with a constant acceleration.
Please draw three constant pressure lines and indicate the line with the
largest value of pressure. Explain why.(20%)
3. For the geometry shown, what are the vertical and horizontal forces on the
dam. The steps are 0.3m high, 0.3m deep, and 3m wide. (20%)
