Discuss the themes of Kate Chopin’s “The Story of an Hour” and Glaspell ’s “A Jury of Her Peers” by putting them together as within their cultural and historical context; be sure to provide details for your discussion. Explain first what “metafiction” is by discussing Grace Paley’s “A Conversation with My Father” and Margaret Atwood’s “Happy Ending,” then how Jorge Luis Borges’s “The Garden of Forking Paths” can also be read within this category.
