The name is borrowed from Russian and roughly translates to "a vague restlessness, mental throes, yearning" ... The Hsinchu native began DJing roughly eight years ago under the moniker MARCO. At the time, he was attracted to the dark melodies found in progressive trance. His musical tastes also spanned to include tribal, breakbeat, and other experimental forms of electronic music. Naturally, his DJ persona grew an affection for dark techno and dub techno record collecting. His appreciaton for music from various genres has helped to shape his DJ sets, which have been known to include powerful mixing of techno, dub techno, industrial, and minimal wave. He has been DJing under the name TOSKA at KORNER in Taipei, Taiwan since 2014. In 2015, he was appointed as KORNER's resident DJ, where he can now be heard spinning at his monthly ADULT GAME CLUB event, and bi-monthly all-night gigs. --
