The Los Angeles Rams released quarterback Nick Foles on Wednesday.
公羊隊已經在上周三釋出去年擔任球隊主力四分衛的Nick Foles
Foles had requested his release, a source told ESPN.
The Rams tried to trade Foles but were unsuccessful, a source said. Foles
will now become an unrestricted free agent.
有人透漏ESPN︰Foles是主動向公羊提案想被釋出。其實公羊也想要嘗試交易他，不過
因始終因找不到滿意的方案而作罷。Foles現在已經是完全自由球員
Foles agreed to a reduction in the guaranteed money the Rams owed him in 2016
in exchange for being released and having the opportunity to sign with the
team of his choice, a source told ESPN.
Foles在釋出協議中，同意減少公羊尚未支付他的本賽季保證薪資，藉以讓自己得以
贖身，並可以自由選擇他想加入的球隊
"We have been in contact with Nick and his representation throughout the
offseason and we feel that this is the best decision for all parties
involved," Rams coach Jeff Fisher said in a statement. "We appreciate the
contributions that Nick has made to our organization in his time as a Ram and
wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors."

Foles skipped the Rams' offseason workouts, unhappy that the team used its
No. 1 overall pick to select quarterback Jared Goff, sources had told ESPN.

After being acquired last offseason in the trade that sent Sam Bradford to
the Philadelphia Eagles, Foles signed a two-year, $24.5 million extension
that included nearly $13.8 million in guarantees.
在去年公羊/老鷹交易中與Sam Bradford互換球隊的Foles，加入公羊後不久就簽下2年
2450萬美金的延長合約，其中保證支付金額就超過了一半
He started the first nine games but was benched for Case Keenum after
throwing only seven touchdowns with six interceptions and five fumbles during
a 4-5 start.
Foles為公羊效力了九場比賽，但在出賽戰績只有4勝5負的影響下，他的隊上的地位
隨即被Case Keenum取代，Foles在公羊隊唯一賽季的其他數據也不怎麼好看–
只傳出7次達陣，卻有6次被攔截與5次傳球失誤

心得︰不算意外的消息，其實就算這新聞沒有提到相關細節，
當大家看到Rams用狀元籤選QB時，大家都可以想見Foles在Rams應該待不久了
不過Foles畢竟入選過明星賽，幫助球隊打進季後賽，
目前的年齡也才27歲，所以一些有QB的球隊應該還是願意逢低買進，

不過比較可惜也有點諷刺的是，他的家鄉球隊牛仔
老闆Jerry Jones已經在前幾天表明對Foles沒有簽約意願了
主要的原因是Jones認為即使要補二號QB，Kellen Moore也算足夠
