Abstract
We develop a new method of obtaining asymptotic joint normal results in
situations where full conditional distributions corresponding to k normalized
blocks of variables have asymptotic normal distributions. We apply this
method to particular linear mixed models with different parameterizations.
Simulations and some data set are analyzed using our asymptotics and compared
with results based on Gibbs sampling and/or EM algorithm.
