Tips of the Meeting Roles in Toastmasters 1. TME- a.Contact/call assignees is a must b.Choose a theme would be recommended c.Arrive the venue earlier for preparations and the last-minute replacements(不過還是提醒大家有position臨時不能出席的要及時通知唷！) d.Introduce TM International or club history in the opening e.Lead the applause f.Smoothly bridge each session with witty, short comment, introduction 2. Receptionist- Smile, Warm welcome, Be kind and sincere Prepare Gust list (Potential Members) 3. Timer- a.Make sure the time limit of each speaker b.Clear and precise timing rules explanation c.Conclude your report with all qualified or who's not qualified 4. Ah Counter- a.Remind speakers of the unnecessary sounds, repeated words and the miss use of gender b.Be sure to announce the maximun fine (這邊我們還沒實際實行，因為目前為止沒有人阿到30之類的，不過我們可以討論一下) 5. Vote Counter- a.Anounse what kinds of awards will be chosen b.Remind the time of collecting the ballots(Usually before LE) 6. Joke mster- a.Prepare short jokes (at least two if you didn't ask for 暗裝) b.Set a joke library (這個大家意見如何?) 7. Prepared Speaker- a.Read the manual first and pick up a topic meeting the speech objective b.Find members(mentors) to check the content or grammer of your script c.Rehearsals are a must d.Send your scrip to your assigned evaluator for comment or discussion (像是今天Victor就事先問我說他有沒有需要特別注意我Speech的哪部份) e.Be sure to bring the manual to the venue to your IE f.Come to the venue earlier for setting up the props and related preparations 8. IE- a.Understand the guideline and objective b.Communicate with your speaker before meeting c.Listen carefully, watch teh response, list the improvement d.Organize the short speech, deliver clear and specific suggestions 9. LE- Listen carefully, list good expression and improvement 10.
