※ [本文轉錄自 den1125b 信箱] 作者: [email protected] ("天溥深忒") 標題: 〔電算中心公告〕電子郵件主機停機公告（Email service Stop） 時間: Fri Nov 18 18:18:02 2005 作者: rednose (拉力天使) 站內: dormitory 標題: 〔電算中心公告〕電子郵件主機停機公告（Email service Stop） 時間: 2005/11/18 Fri 16:25:11 主旨：電子郵件主機將於11/24（四）上午9:00至13:00停機四個小時。 說明： 一、電子郵件主機硬碟系統更換主要儲存設備，更換時需要停機。 二、初步預估約四個小時，若進行順利將提早恢復郵件服務。但若 　　遇不可預測之因素，將延長停機時間，不再公告。 三、停機期間將無法收發信件，但信件將不致遺失，僅造成延遲。 四、本次停機後還會有一次停機，主要是將廣告信防制機制及郵件 　　主機備份系統做轉換。該次停機時間將再另行公告，約在十二 　　月初左右。由於資料轉換需時較長，無法併於本次停機辦理。 五、造成不便，敬祈見諒！若有相關問題請電公分機67157洽詢。 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Email Service will be unavailable on Nov-24-2005 (Thursday) from 9:00AM to 1:00PM (4 hours). 1. The email system needs to upgrade its storage devices. During the upgrade, the email service will be unavailable. 2. It will take about 4 hours for the upgrade. The actual down time will depend on the progress of the upgrade. If the process takes longer than estimated due to unexpected situation, no further announcement will be made. 3.During the down time, users cannot be send or received messages through our server. However, the incoming messages will be deferred until the server is back up. No messages will be lost. 4. There would be an additional service outage in the beginning of December for transfering the Anti-Spam and Backup system that cannot be done this time.
