The Cardinal now face Texas at home, seeking their fourth consecutive College World Series berth. LSU faces Kentucky – rated No. 2 in RPI per D1 Baseball – after the Wildcats emerged victorious from their own regional. Tennessee entered the postseason as the top-rated No. 2 seed and beat a red-hot Clemson to reach the Supers. Southern Miss is in the midst of a farewell tour of longtime coach Scott Berry, who retires at the end of the Golden Eagles' season. Instead, the Sycamores look to defy the odds once again in Fort Worth against TCU, one of the nation's hottest teams.
