The Cleveland Cavaliers have recalled guard Shannon Brown from the Rio Grande
Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League, Cavaliers' General Manager Danny
Ferry announced today.
Brown was assigned to Rio Grande Valley on Jan. 11 and played in four games
for the Vipers. He averaged 23.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in
42.5 minutes per game. Against the Dakota Wizards on Jan. 16, Brown scored a
game-high 37 points on 13-24 shooting, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out
three assists.
In 12 games (four starts) for the Cavaliers this season, he is averaging 7.9
points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 16.4 minutes.
