(6.29) - Amant, L' (1991) 情人 (5.61) - Message in a Bottle (1999) 瓶中信 當然, Garbiel Yard 的作品不少不是美國好來屋作品, 所以我們熟悉的並不多, 但至少還有 (7.39) - Chocolat (2000) 巧克力情人 (7.10) - Talented Mr. Ripley, The (1999) 天才雷普利 (6.26) - Wings of Courage (1995) 火線勇氣 (4.74) - Autumn in New York (2000) 紐約的秋天 這幾部是大家比較有在接觸的... 當然最主要的原因是 Gabriel Yared 是黎巴嫩貝魯特人吧, 所以在成名後才算踏入美國電影配樂的樂壇. 我會接觸他是因為巴黎野玫瑰的關係, 這部片的風格有一半是配樂的功勞, 如何塑造出一個既清新又詭異的感覺, 至少 Gabriel Yared 是做到了. 而我覺得單單這部 OST 就足已奠定他是傑出配樂家的角色, 在內容上用單純的鋼琴曲來襯拖整部片的風格, 但突然插入一段看似不協調但又有意義的幾個音符, 正確切表示出這部片的精神, 除外其有點 Blues 的風格, 可以說是那時的發燒經典. 但之後就沒有有名的作品, 一直到英倫情人才算有相當的名氣, 這部作品在我的演中也算是他的代表作,... 而之後的 X情人也不算非常成功的作品, 因為我覺得這部 OST 的成功是來自於 Sarah MacLaurance 的 Angel 的感覺, 不是他的 theme... 而情人與瓶中信因為我沒有認真聽, 所以較難評價, 但我覺得應該算是不錯的作品, 不知道有誰有可以借給我聽聽看... 下面是他的完整作品列表與年代..
