Last year he moved up to Double-A and had a fine season in short relief. The Dominican southpaw gets ground balls with a moving fastball in the low 90s. He relies on hitters to chase it out of the strike zone, something they might no longer do as he moves up the ladder, so he likely will need to develop another pitch and refine his command. He held left-handed hitters to a .186 average, with five extra-base hits in 86 at-bats. --
