Williams, who missed the first 12 games after having right knee surgery during the offseason, already had a MRI scheduled for his foot when the Heat returns to Miami. The abdominal strain was diagnosed during Saturday's game at Chicago. Williams' status might cloud Miami's situation at point guard, a position the Heat declined to address with a veteran during the offseason. Backup G Gary Payton has been battling back problems all season. Behind him is rookie Chris Quinn, who is limited but has played fairly efficiently in limited action. Quinn doesn't seem ready for heavy minutes, however. Consider Williams a risky start for the upcoming scoring period. --
