Medsharks is a group that unites everyone with a common interest in swimming, both competitive and recreational. For those who enjoy the aquatic sport yet find themselves breathless after only a few laps, Medsharks would be the ultimate solution. Our seniors are more than willing to help, ensuring steady improvements under their guidance. Unlike other competitive swimming teams, Medsharks has no attendance requirements. Members can choose to perceive the group as easy-going and relaxed. However, for those who are determined to become strong swimmers, Medsharks also provides the necessary training, developing individual self- discipline and motivation for this life long aquatic activity. Our seniors were on the school's swim team, and have been trained to their highest possible competition and fitness level. Medsharks also invites swimming athletes to lead teaching sessions on a non-regular basis, including those from the national team. For those who seek to attain a fit physique, swimming is the best form of exercise, since it offers a full body workout and less risk of injuries. Apart from common forms of swimming, the group also regularly participates in other aquatic sports, eg. lifeguard training, surfing, ocean swimming, etc. Thus whatever the motive for swimming may be, a lot can be learned and gained here at Medsharks, a truly worthwhile experience.
