Free-agent point guard Darren Collison has agreed to sign a two-year deal
with the Los Angeles Clippers to become Chris Paul's backup, a source told
Yahoo! Sports on Saturday.
Collison's money will come from part of the mid-level exception and the
contract has a player's option in the second season. The former UCLA star
averaged 12 points and 5.1 assists for the Dallas Mavericks last season.
The Mavericks made him an unrestricted free agent to clear salary in hopes of
acquiring free agent center Dwight Howard. Howard chose to sign with the
Houston Rockets.
Collison答應與快艇簽下兩年合約，將在日後擔任CP3的替補，他將獲得一份中產階級條款
及第二年的合約選擇權。他上個賽季平均有著12分5.1次助攻。
小牛在今夏選擇讓他成為自由球員，以便清出薪資空間來競逐Howard，不過Howard最後選
擇與火箭簽約。
短評:這應該是繼卡蝶龍後第二個簽約的PG?
