Delonte West glad that Mavs aren't getting national attention
West表示他很高興小牛並未受到太多注目
In his seven years in the NBA , Delonte West has developed a reputation for being something of
a character off the court. But the new Mavericks point guard wants to let everyone know that
basketball -- not his quirky personality -- will be the focus in Dallas.
這是他NBA生涯的第七年，但West因為他在場外的事情受到了太多注目（太上皇XD）
不過，他現在是小牛新的控球後衛，他想要讓世人知道的是他的球技－而非他的那些古怪行為。
"I want to acclimate myself on the court and remind my new associates and new friends that
I'm here to play basketball first and help this team get back to repeating," West told KESN-FM's
Ben & Skin. "That's the no. 1 goal."
我想適應在球場上的感覺，並提醒我的新夥伴、新朋友，我是來這裡打球的，
並且幫助小牛重返榮耀，那就是總冠軍！（很有氣勢喔！！！）
West will predominantly serve as the Mavs' backup point guard, but could also see some time
at the two-guard spot, as well.
West將幫助小牛的後場防守跟輪替，但應該也能看到他擔任一些雙能衛的時間。
But he understands that the man he was signed to replace -- J.J. Barea --
was a fan favorite in Dallas, and that his departure, coupled with the losses of
Tyson Chandler and Caron Butler , have many overlooking the Mavs as title contenders.
但他必須了解到他是代替誰而來的－我們的一哥JJB－一位在達拉斯人氣僅次於老大的球員，
他的離開，加上拳王和卡巴的出走，有非常多具有實力的隊伍正覬覦著小牛的冠軍寶座。
Which is just how West wants it.
這些將是West的豪語－幫助達拉斯拿下總冠軍，在實現之前必須要去克服的。
"With the pieces that we've added on in Lamar Odom and Vince Carter,
I'm glad that all the attention is on the Clippers and all these other teams," West said. "
Y'all keep on focusing on them and don't worry about us cowboys over here."
West說：「隨著Odom和Carter加入我們的陣容以後，我很高興所有的目光都還是注視在快艇或是其他隊伍上。」
「這樣其他隊就會把焦點注視在他們身上，他們就不會去注意到我們了。」
感覺West是很有企圖心的球員呢!之前對他不熟，希望本季他能有精彩的表現!!!
小牛今年要衛冕!!!!!!
