Mavs keep young guards in the fold
The Dallas Mavericks have exercised the contract options for guards
Rodrigue Beaubois and Dominique Jones.

The 6-foot-2 Beaubois will enter his third season and, unlike after his
rookie season when hopes were high, plenty of questions will hover over him
after a recent second surgery stemming from the fracture he sustained
last September in his left foot. He played just 28 games last season and,
after starting 26 in a row, was benched in the season finale and re-injured
his foot.
Beaubois was active for a few playoff games, but never played.
He averaged 8.4 points, 2.3 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 17.7 minutes per game
in his second season.
Jones was the 25th overall pick in last year's draft. The Mavs shelled out
$3 million to the Memphis Grizzlies to move into the first round to select
the South Florida guard, who averaged 2.3 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists
in 7.5 minutes in 18 games as a rookie. He also made 10 appearances for the
Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.
Jones suffered a similar fracture to that of Beaubois late in the season,
but made a full recovery.
Under the collective bargaining agreement that expires at the end of Thursday,
Beaubois is slated to make $1.24 million next season and Jones' salary
is $1.19 million.
在(已過期的)舊CBA之下，Beaubois 下一季的薪資是124萬美元，Jones 是119萬美元。
