He knows that there is no sense in trying to get back a day, a week or a month quicker than is necessary before he's 100 percent healthy from the foot surgery he had in August. "It's a little boring,'' he said. Had a chance to sit with Roddy briefly after today's practice. He's still walking around in the protective boot. He's still not doing anything that would put stress on the repaired bone in his left foot. "All I can do is wait,'' he said. Beaubois tried to test out his foot last month and the soreness was still there, so he went back in the boot. Whether or not that was a tweak, a setback or an aggravation of the injury doesn't matter. What does matter is that the foot wasn't ready for the test drive. Now, it's just a matter of time.
