Josh Howard: (Hamstring) Could Sit For Remainder of Regular Season
Update: Howard's hamstring injury may cause the Mavericks to shut him down
for a significant portion of the 19 games left in the season, the Fort Worth
Star-Telegram reports.
Analysis: Howard is officially listed as day-to-day, but the club wants to be
cautious with an eye toward having him back for the playoffs. "With the big
picture in mind, we want to make sure those guys (Howard and Devin Harris)
are healthy for the playoffs," president of basketball operations Donnie
Nelson said.
