It could equally well have called itself 'Both left and right', the synthesis of two opposing ideologies, rather than their elimination. The Italian extreme right often uses a formula which removes any remaining doubt about the possible dual choice between rejection and synthesis: 'beyond left and right'. All three formulas represent a third way which can be interpreted as both inclusive and exclusive. （Against the Third Way, p.4） --
