David de Gea - 4 (今天不能怪他 Powerless to prevent the first two goals but, again, far too flimsy when facing Pascal Gross's penalty. Ashley Young - 4 (壓上後被反擊打爽的 Left a trail of ring-rust in his first game of the new season. Glenn Murray's opener came from down his side. Eric Bailly - 3 (今天是來曼聯後踢的數一數二爛的比賽 Haphazard and positionally indisciplined before he recklessly conceded a penalty that allowed Brighton to reopen their two-goal advantage. Victor Lindelof - 3 (正常?!發揮嗎???!!!..... Regressed to his Huddersfield horror show of 10 months ago. Lacked protection but was unsteady throughout and his confidence plummeted. Luke Shaw - 5 A respectful performer, if only because Brighton did not target him as much as Young. Assisted Romelu Lukaku's header. Andreas Pereira - 3 (too young... Showed why Nemanja Matic will walk back into the team. Not a natural holding midfielder and needs a foil if he is to stay in that role permanently. Fred - 3 (我以為他是跑不死的...今天好沒活力 A bystander in the first-half who did little to support Pereira and help out United defensively. Overwhelmed by the pace of the game. Paul Pogba - 3 (他今天就是出腳很隨便 Switched to cruise control. Gave his manager ammunition with an at times feckless performance that suggests he still lacks consistency. Should do his talking on the pitch but scored penalty. Juan Mata - 1 (完全贊成 報告, 完全沒有畫面 Anonymous. Inevitably substituted at half-time. Anthony Martial - 3 (球王怎麼一季比一季退步了..... Embarked on a positive early surge but did next to nothing after that. Came off early in the second-half. Romelu Lukaku - 5 (今天最認真的球員了. 可惜都要出禁區拿球.... Scored to make it 2-1 but squandered an excellent chance at 0-0. Had he converted it may have been a different afternoon. Subs Jesse Lingard - 4 Lively but had no impact. Marcus Rashford - 4 Game but ineffectual.
