Made a crucial stop 90 seconds after United took the lead and was not shaken
by CSKA's ultras hissing behind him. Huge. 8
Ashley Young - 7
Captained the side for the first time this season and maintained encouraging
return to first-team action. One of the stories of the season.
Chris Smalling - 7
Fourth start of the season and brought some welcome doggedness to the
backline. Not afraid to boot the ball clear.
Eric Bailly - 7
A welcome return from suspension and the one-time right-back looked
comfortable on the right-hand side of the three-man defence.
Victor Lindelof - 7 (今天踢三後衛是為了練Lindelof嗎?
Mourinho's step by step approach is slowly paying dividends and this is
Lindelof's kind of arena. Disciplined and did not venture too far.
Daley Blind - 7
Improving and looked comfortable at wing-back. Promising moments supporting
Martial on overlap. Made a crucial block.
Nemanja Matic - 7
Limped onto team bus against Southampton but stood tall again and gives such
crucial reassurance to Henrikh Mkhitaryan et al.
Ander Herrera - 7
Stepped up as the club's unofficial captain on the European stage again and
constantly encouraged his team-mates. Kept it simple.
Anthony Martial - 8 (今天應該10分啦!!!!
Did not feature against Southampton, but made an instant impact two brilliant
assists for Lukaku. Over to you Marcus Rashford.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan - 8 (進球完全是積極跑出來的
Won a penalty and predatory finish on his 50th appearance for the club. Goal
capped a fine performance.
Romelu Lukaku - 8 (完美開局啊!!!
His remarkable scoring run continues and what a header it was. Lovely link-up
play with Martial throughout. The signing of the summer.
Subs
Jesse Lingard (59') - 6
Eager to impress and buzzed around. Bounced back from a nasty clash of heads.
Matteo Darmian (67') - 6
Gave Young a well-earned break and gave natural width.
Marcus Rashford (72') - 6
Will have licked his lips coming on, but faces a fight to regain a starting
spot against Palace.
