Matteo Darmian - 5 His first minutes of the season and started reasonably steadily but was easily by-passed a couple of times that created havoc in centre of Reds defence. Eric Bailly - 7 Suffered a heavy early knock on his upper left thigh and struggled for a while but once he ran it off he was solid again. Chris Smalling - 7 Jorgensen gave him quite a testing return to first team action for the first time this season and he stood up to the task. Marcos Rojo - 4 Think Luke Shaw won't exactly be worrying too much about his place back home. The Argentinian didn't look dominating enough. Morgan Schneiderlin - 7 The Frenchman looked more like the player United bought from Southampton than at any time under Louis van Gaal. Read game well and stopped a lot of danger. Ander Herrera - 6 With Schneiderlin doing the protection job the Basque midfielder was able to get on the front foot more. He did take something of a bashing from a physical opponent but never shirked. Juan Mata - 5 Floored numerous times by some heavy challenges from Feyenoord and as a result he didn't get into the game anywhere near enough. Posed little threat. Paul Pogba - 5 When your opponents are willing to battle you need the Frenchman to come to the party and show some strength. It went on around him too much. Better than the derby but still not enough. Anthony Martial - 6 The Frenchman has been far too subdued this season but at first he looked like he had the bit between his teeth. But once his supply ran out he disappeared. Marcus Rashford - 5 Was too much of an isolated figure. When he did get a run at the defenders he ran into too many brick walls. It was a hard night for him.
