My greatest challenge is not what's happening at the moment,
my greatest challenge was knocking Liverpool right off their f*****g perch.
- Sir Alex Ferguson
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
於是在奪標後，老頭的目標就差一步就100%達成了
各項大小賽事錦標統計表：（也是目前英格蘭最多的兩家球會）
LG FAC LC CS EC UC UCWC ESC IC FCWC Total
Liverpool 18 7 7 10 5 3 0 3 0 0 53
United 18 11 4 13 3 0 1 1 1 1 53
LG = 頂級聯賽
FAC = 足總盃
LC = 聯賽盃
CS = 社區盾（只算獨贏次數，因為在1991年以前，打成平手雙方共享冠軍）
EC = 歐冠（改制前+改制後）
UC = 歐協盃 + 歐巴聯
UCWC = 歐洲優勝者盃（已經停辦）
ESC = 歐洲超級盃（歐冠冠軍 v 次級歐戰賽事冠軍）
IC = 洲際盃（也就是豐田盃，已停辦）
FCWC = 世俱盃
