標題[情報] Trevor Story尚未決定是否逃脫合約

Now, Story has a $55 million opt-out decision. He can accept that guaranteed sum
over the next two years ($25 million per year, plus a 2028 club option with a $
5 million buyout), or he can try his luck on the open market, where there won't
be many other shortstops available.
Story wasn't ready to commit to a direction in his first comments after what cou
ld theoretically have been his last game in a Red Sox uniform. But he did seem t
o hint that he didn't intend on wearing another uniform in the near future.
“It’s not at the top of mind. I’m not gonna speak on that right now,” Story
said, per Chris Cotillo of MassLive. “But I came here to be here for a long tim
e.”

The Red Sox are in agreement with Trevor Story on a six year, $140MM contract. A
fter the fourth year, 2025, Story can opt out of the final two years of the deal
. However, Boston can negate that opt-out by picking up a seventh year option fo
r $25MM, or pay a $5MM buyout. If they were to exercise that option, it would ad
d $20MM to the deal, effectively making it a seven-year, $160MM arrangement. Sto
ry will not have any no-trade protection as part of the contract. Story is a cli
ent of Excel Sports Management.
根據合約，Story逃脫可以拿到5M的買斷金
但紅襪也可以選擇執行第七年25M的選擇權
來無效化逃脫，等於多給20M
讓這張合約變成160M/7Y
2026 $25M
2027 $25M
2028 $25M(紅襪能選擇執行 or 5M買斷)
今年達成大聯盟十年年資
