Cal Raleigh 加入了眾多捕手的行列，對於大聯盟明年將實施 ABS挑戰系統表達不滿，許多 球員一致認為，這套制度的設計目的在於增加進攻火力，甚至也可能成為職業賭客的工具 “I’m not a fan of it," Raleigh, who was one of four players on the competition committee, told reporters. “I’ve said it before, just some parts of the game I think you don’t mess with, but it is what it is,” Raleigh said. “I get it f rom the fans’ sake and bringing that excitement to it.
