Yesterday we learned that the Nationals are out of the Cliff Lee sweepstakes
and that the Yankees will not increase their offer again. Multiple reporters
have suggested Lee will decide this week. If you believe in the mystery
team, the lefty may have three legitimate suitors. Otherwise, it's just the
Yankees and Rangers. The top bullets have the latest:
‧Lee's agent Darek Braunecker has been in touch with the Yankees today,
tweets ESPN's Buster Olney, and he said the process is ongoing.
‧The unidentified third team is only willing to go four or five years,
writes George A. King III of the New York Post.

Lee is only willing to offer a four or five-year deal.
Hopefully all this talk of a "mystery team" can now be put to a stop. Lee is
expected to decide between six and seven-year offers from the Yankees and
Rangers early this week, possibly by Monday night.

Lee的經紀人有和洋基接觸,答案即有可能是洋基
那個祕密球隊頂多出個4~5年約，而Lee想要的是7年約
所以不用再想那個"mystery team"
Lee只會在這禮拜，遊騎兵跟洋基之間選一個 說不定答案揭曉在美國的星期1晚上
Lee上次說48小時內揭曉 都已經超過了，不要再拖臺錢了啦!!!

Buster Olney of ESPN.com reports that Cliff Lee's agent, Darek Braunecker,
made contact with the Yankees early Monday morning.
Braunecker says negotiations are still "ongoing." That could mean that a
decision is not reached Monday or until later in the week. The Yanks made a
seven-year offer worth around $161 million during the Winter Meetings last
week and GM Brian Cashman told the New York Post on Sunday that he would not
improve that proposal. The Rangers are thought to have countered with a
six-year deal that contains a seventh year option. It remains a two-team race.
