Butterfly這張專輯我真的很推薦,雖然曲風不像new Mariah的多元與hip pop 仔細的看了一下裡面的製作人與作曲者發現好多首歌都是MC與Walter Afanasieff 合作的,他也和很多歌手合作過如Celine Dion, Savage Garden, Destiny's Child, Ricky Martin,我記得Whitney也有和他合作過. He has also written and produced music for many famous singers such Celine Dion, Savage Garden, Destiny's Child and Ricky Martin. 他很多作品都是和MC一起發表但1997年Butterfly後兩人因創作理念而分道揚鑣 後來除了Glitter的Lead the way"外都沒再合作過...(好可惜喔),MC breakdown後 E Entertainment訪問Afanasieff,他還是對MC讚譽有加 Afanasieff spent the vast majority of his career creating music with Mariah Carey. He traveled and toured with her, playing piano live. He appeared in Carey's homevideos talking about their creative process. After 1997's Butterfly album, Afanasieff and Carey reportedly had creative differences and a falling out. They have not worked together since, although on 2001‘s Glitter, Carey released one of the songs the pair had co-written during the Butterfly sessions, "Lead the Way". After Carey's breakdown, E!
