英國買下葛萊美版權的ITV 做出了以下的回應:
ITV RESPONDS TO CRITISM 11/2/2006
A lot of fans have emailed ITV asking why they edited Mariah out of their
Grammy highlights. Becky received the following responce:
The GRAMMY AWARDS 2006 is an "acquired" programme therefore we here at ITV
buy the rights from the Production Company in question and obviously we
broadcast what they allow us to - the programme is cut and edited by
themselves and not ITV.
