Dietmar Hamann is poised to decide his future after Liverpool gave permission to Bolton to talk terms with the Reds midfielder. Hamann has been deemed surplus to requirements by Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez and Bolton have been quick to express an interest in signing the former German international. Trotters boss Sam Allardyce will now hope to persuade the 32-year-old to commit his future to the Reebok Stadium outfit. Hamann will take his time before deciding on his next move, although he expects to be able to shed light on the situation by the end of the week. Hamann, who famously scored the final ever goal at Wembley Stadium, has been an integral member of Liverpool's squad since signing from Newcastle in the summer of 1999, making over 250 appearances for the club. And he admits it will be a wrench to leave The Reds. "I'm deciding what's the best thing to do," Hamann told Liverpool's official website."My heart is with Liverpool, but obviously I have to consider everything I've been told and do what's right. "The decision to sell me has not entirely come as a shock to me, but deciding whether to go or not is very hard for me. "I'll be back in England later this week and that's when I'll decide whether to go to Bolton. They're the only club which have shown any interest.
