標題[文法] 請問附屬連接詞中where跟which的用法..我常混淆

如何區別subordinating conjunction是使用where還是which?
像是下面的例句
Ex. Elba is the island where Napoleon was exiled.
=>為什麼不能用which??
Ex. Jeff and Susan have been lining in the city of San Francisco,
which is located in California, since 2000.
=>為什麼不能用where?
