Divac added that none of the four teams has offered him its midlevel exception. "I would be a happy man, and my whole family would be happy if we stay here," h e told the Bee. "This is my team, these are my fans in a great town with great people. The Lakers are in a similar situation where there are people I know who did a lot of good things for me. ... I want to play for a decent team and make some decent money." Divac said Sacramento ranked fourth on the list right now. The Lakers also repo rtedly have contacted Detroit guard Mike James and continue to wait on Slava Me dvedenko. Numbers game: Odom, Grant and Caron Butler could not have the jersey numbers th ey had with Miami. Odom got No. 5, with No. 7 belonging to Cook. Grant took No. 55, with No. 44 retired for Jerry West.
