Paul has been dealing with a right hamstring injury that first occurred in the second quarter of Game 1 of the Western Conference playoff series between the Clippers and Warriors. The Clippers don’t play Game 3 of the best-of-seven series that’s tied at 1-1 until Thursday night in Oakland. “He needs it, because I think he’s doing everything he can with it, to be honest,” Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said about Paul. “Two days are huge for him to get rest.” Paul played 27 minutes 24 seconds in Game 2, finishing with 12 points, 10 assists and five turnovers. When the series started Saturday, Rivers said he and his staff talked about starting guard J.J.
