Work is performed under general direction, you will have significant latitude in implementation of projects. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES ‧ Designing, developing, testing and documenting software components and applications. ‧ Leading requirements gathering, estimating, and planning efforts. ‧ Provides expertise and leadership for performing failure analysis. ‧ Interfacing with mechanical, electrical, systems, and test engineers. ‧ Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and supporting existing products. ‧ Supporting integration of 3rd party hardware in production and testing software. ‧ Identifying and implementing process improvements. ‧ Willingness and ability to assume increased responsibility. ‧ Effectively leading development efforts. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION REQUIRED: ‧ B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering YEARS OF EXPERIENCE ‧ 3-5 years of relevant work experience with B.S. ‧ 0+ years of experience with M.S. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED ‧ C++ and GUI development ‧ Relational Databases and SQL ‧ Strong knowledge of software and system design, development, debug and test practices. ‧ Ability to work in a cross functional team environment and directly contribute to its success. ‧ Strong oral and written communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ‧ Familiarity with Qt application development ‧ MySQL database administration ‧ Knowledge of iterative software design and development practices including agile and test-driven development. ‧ Project management skills including planning and estimation. ‧ Experience analyzing data, documenting evaluation methods and results ‧ Ability to quickly prototype new concepts and ideas ‧ Ability to provide creativity while solving complex problems without known solutions ‧ Knowledge in PCB design and layout is a plus Please send your resume with cover letter to [email protected] --
