標題[外電] injury 更新:罵ok, Lin歸期不樂觀

Knicks injury update: Amar'e Stoudemire takes part in contact drills,
Jeremy Lin gets stiches removed
There was some good news and some non-news on the Knicks' injury front
before Friday's game against the Washington Wizards.
First, Amar'e Stoudemire (bulging disc) was able to take part in some
scrimmage time and some drills on Thursday.
"It was some contact yesterday and some drill work," interim coach
Mike Woodson said.
"He seemed to feel pretty good today so we'll take
another step tomorrow and see where he is. Hopefully he can let us know
what he plans on doing, but again,
it's still day to day as far as
I'm concerned because I think the
doctors still got to have some say-so
in what happens."
Woodson described Thursday's work as the "first step" in Stoudemire's
comeback from a non-surgical procedure and said the veteran will be active
during Saturday's practice as long as he's okay with that.
"We will practice tomorrow and prepare for the Miami game," Woodson said.
"We will have guys, guys that don't play a lot of minutes, they've got to
get some conditioning work in up and down the floor,
so hopefully he'll be
a part of that if he's feeling up to it."
As for Jeremy Lin (torn meniscus), who is working his way back from knee
surgery,
the news wasn't so optimistic.
"He's doing fine," Woodson said. "
He got his stitches out yesterday and
he's just increasing his therapy work. Where he is in terms of coming back,
somewhere down the road
—not anytime soon."
Lin has previously said he's hoping to return for a second-round playoff
matchup, but even that seems a touch optimistic.
