NEW YORK -- Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony tweaked his groin in the third
quarter of Monday night's 89-80 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
He will be
re-evaluated on Tuesday morning and hopes to be available for Wednesday's
home game against the Orlando Magic.
"I don't think it's too bad, I just want to take it day by day," Anthony
said. "Tomorrow, (I'll) get re-evaluated and see what happens from there."
Anthony tweaked the injury during a spin move late in the third quarter. He
clutched at his groin as he ran up the court and was evaluated by team
trainers between the third and fourth quarters. He played 6:48 in the fourth
quarter, scoring two points on 1-for-3 shooting.
"It aches a little bit right now. If I had to play tomorrow, I probably
would," Anthony said after scoring 28 points on 8-for-20 shooting against
Milwaukee. "But we'll see how it feels tomorrow."
Anthony suffered a strained right groin on Feb. 6 and missed seven games. He
noted that Monday's injury was less severe than his previous groin ailment.
With Amare Stoudemire out indefinitely with a bulging disk in his lower back
and Jeremy Lin day to day with a sore right knee, Anthony's health is of
extreme importance for the Knicks (25-25). Monday's win gave New York a 2½
game edge over Milwaukee for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
Anthony knows much of the offensive burden will be on him if Stoudemire is
out for an extended period of time.
"A situation like this requires me to step my game up a little bit more, take
it up a notch," Anthony said. "I love moments like this."

所以確定是那大轉身受傷的，希望MELO不要跟AMARE一樣嘴巴說沒事，身體..
感覺積極度一百分，也非常了解球隊需要他挺身而出，也是個機會漂白。
但MELO目前是說沒大礙，明天才能觀察是否仍(需)在禮拜三面對魔術的比賽出場。
