國外球迷的賽後分享 寫得很不錯 I'm really liking what I'm seeing. Shouldn't surprise anyone that bad coaching was a huge part in this team being terrible the last few years. When Vasquez is on, our offense is as smooth as it has ever looked. The good thing is that games like this should happen more often as he gets used to his teammates. Thornton looks like he was definitely benefiting from Vasquez. He didn't take many forced shots and got a lot of layups...some of them weren't of the easy variety so it's good that he's a solid finisher. Cousins just looks different this year. His post moves look much cleaner than they ever have. He still has some of those weird herky jerky moves but the ball is still going in the basket. If he keeps developing like this, he's going to be nearly unstoppable. The way he made Griffin look like a little boy on that 1 on 1 move was a thing of beauty.What I liked is that he didn't go off the rails after getting dominated by Jordan and racking up 3 fouls in the 1st quarter.He showed maturity and came back after the half and played like a grown man. IT is in a perfect position coming off the bench. He gets to do what he does best and light up the scoreboard. He was obviously hot this game but there is no doubt this guy has some real offensive skills. Some of those finishes at the basket were awesome to watch. With him on the 2nd team, he gets to concentrate on his offense...which is fine with me when he's surrounded by lesser skilled offensive players like Outlaw, Hayes and Thompson. McLemore didn't shoot well but it was good to see that he had an obvious impact on the game without the shots falling because we know those will come. Crawford really made him look stupid on a few plays so I hope he's the type of player that puts that in his mental bank and learns from it. I think it's a good thing that he comes off the bench with IT and those guys. It makes him the 2nd/3rd option and lets him face the other teams bench players. Hopefully it turns out to be a confidence builder. Thompson may need to channel Nick Van Exel and step out to about 18ft to take his free throws. His jumper looked great out there and equally as bad at the line. The defense looks much improved. That first quarter was ugly but the starters made adjustments (something that never happened under Smart) and did a great job in the 3rd quarter. Vasquez grabbed a couple steals, Thornton was scrappy, Patterson was playing great man defense, Salmons/Outlaw were doing their thing and Cousins was stealing under the basket. The opposition scored 100 but that was mainly due to lax defense at the end and a 3 point barrage from the Clips. The offense looks like a normal offense. Players moving, cutting, passing, screening. It's crazy how long we went with that iso game under multiple coaches. Boggles my mind how some of these coaches are able to make it to the elite level of the game while seeming to know less than most of the fan base. Bench looks like a strong point. That 2nd quarter was like watching men amongst boys. The Clippers were missing a couple players but even with Collison and Dudley, our bench can still match up with them. Officials sucked on both sides. I hate it when they call pointless ticky tack fouls and it's even more annoying to see in a preseason game. Why the NBA allows these guys to dictate the game the way they do is beyond me. -- --
