Kings owner says Theus doesn't have a system
Kings co-owner Joe Maloof publicly chided coach Reggie Theus on Friday for
not having a clearly defined 'system'.
"If [Theus] doesn't get that system...he better try to get one quickly,"
Maloof said. "I think Reggie's future depends upon how he develops our young
players." Theus doesn't seem to have great job security, though Maloof's
expectations might be unreasonable. He wants to develop young players but
also wants "to make a run for the playoffs." Reminder to the Maloofs: you
can't eat a cake while it's being baked.
