This Is It' DVD Breaks Records In Japan
(31-1-2010) DVDs and Blu-ray discs of the Michael Jackson documentary "This
Is It" racked up $18 million in sales on the title's first day of release in
Japan -- a new record, according to the Oricon rating service.
TII的DVD在日本銷售第一天就賣了一千八百萬 破了紀錄
DVDs accounted for $11.3 million and Blu-ray discs $6.7 million on Jan. 26.
This smashes the previous DVD opening-day record of $6.2 million held by the
Hayao Miyazaki toon "Ponyo," which was the bestselling DVD of 2009.
DVD賣了1千一百30萬 藍光賣了六百七十萬 打破了首日銷售的紀錄

Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced that "This Is It" will not be
available for rental on discs. But documentary will be run on pay TV services.
錢尼發布說TII不會提供出租 (?????) 但會在付費電視上撥出
The documentary earned $58 million in theatrical release in Japan -- about
25% of its worldwide box office take.
目前TII在日本戲院票房已經有5千八百萬 占了全世界總票房的25% !!!!
