Many of his christmas songs were done back in the 70's when he was singing with his brothers in the Jackson 5. The Jackson's did not actually celebrate christmas since they followed the Jehovah Witness religion. Michael only celebrated christmas as an adult when he was no longer a Jehovah Witness.
