標題[風聲] 如何向外國介紹台灣同時置入性行銷
時間Mon May 28 17:56:55 2012
Taiwan is a beautiful country, and Taiwan is not a part of China.
Although Taiwan is now an independent, democratic, and free country. Taiwan
walked a long way to become how Taiwan is like today.
Taiwan was under martial law practiced by ROC (AKA KMT at that time) less than
25 years ago.
Everything was inspected, there was nothing wouldn't be "a threat to the
nation" at that time.
Under martial law, soldiers, polices and government's spies were everywhere,
looking for anything "unusual" to pick on.
Everyone was under a threat and fear that one would be "dissapear" tomorrow or,
a police came to the door for some answers that one didn't even know where the
"questions" came from.
This was Taiwan a generation ago.
However, although the hope was slight and unseen, there was a group of
fearless, wise, ideal people who made the most of themselves, risking
everything fighting for freedom, democratic and human rights.
Some people secretly worked with Amneaty International, and some people
protested "illegally."
They were thrown behind bars, beaten, srtarved, hanged and so on, even
murdered.
One man, Yi-hsiung Lin was one of the most harmed. His family (two 7-year-old
twin girls and his own mother) was murdered on February 28, 1980.
February 28th is the date of 228 massacre took place.
ROC's army killed approximately more than 10,000 to 30,000 civilians on
February 27, and February 28, 1947.
You can see the warning in this murder.
In this murder, Lin's eldest daughter, Huan-Jun Lin was also attacked but
didn't die, she was discovered by his father's assistant, and was saved
afterwards.
She was nine.
The murder was brutal. Lin's mother was throbed or slayed a dozen of time,
and the twins were found lying together with candies in their mouths.
Another man, Nan-jung Cheng burned himself for "100 percent freedom in speech"
on April 7, 1989.
He said "My name is Nan-jung Cheng! I support Taiwan independence!"
Then ROC government warned him that he would be arrested for his "ruthless"
speech.
He answered "You will only get my body, not me."
He locked himself in his office with three barrels of gas and mathes, and
after 71 days of self-isolation, the police circled around his office, but
before they can approach him by force or weapon, Cheng quietly walked into an
inside den and locked himself inside.
When the police finally got him, his words was fulfilled.
The police only found his remains with only one leg unburned.
During Cheng's funeral on May 19, 1989 I-hua Chang also performed self
immolation in front of the Presidential Office Building in Taipei.
Ironically, on july 15, 1987, the martial law was lifted.
However, the ROC government lied.
Luckily, those great men and women in Taiwan won.
Thosethree men are just three of the most poignant examples of our pioneers in
freedom, they were fearless and full of passion, ideal, and vision.
They sacrificed so much for us.
This is the history of Taiwan, and we have to pay salute to them.
So, we tell these to you, a person from so far away.
We feel a strong obligation to do that.
To remember, to document, and most importantly, to tell, and spread all these.
Please pray for Taiwan, to remember the past and to keep being democratic,
independent and free like today.
Thank you very much.
