Nedved回應：「我要感謝主席以及球隊給予我的信任，讓我可以為全世界最頂尖的 其中一支球隊工作。我的任務改變不大，我依舊保持每天與球員教練的聯繫，球場 上的事務是我能幫上最多忙的地方。幾年下來我已經能夠瞭解如此偉大的球隊是如 何運作的，我將卯足全勁捍衛這支球隊。」 --- 這應該是好消息，當然也是幾年下來Nedved工作方面的肯定。管理階層不乏商業與 運動產業的人才，但實際從事運動員甚至取得如此成就的，全世界也沒有幾個人。 對於球員教練來說，Nedved的存在或許也能拉近與高層之間的距離，而且幾乎每場 比賽都能看到Nedved在場邊觀戰，踢得好不好是騙不過Nedved的。對於球迷來說則 是聯繫了過去與現在，能留下傳奇球星並擔任如此要角真的難得。 --
