VfL Wolfsburg have secured the services of midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic. The 34 year old, who joined up with the team at the training camp in Glü cksburg on Monday evening, has signed a deal for the 2011/2012 season. The former Bosnia-Herzegovina international (43 games, six goals)was most recently signed to Juventus Turin. The new signing will wear the number 11 shirt at VfL. Salihamidzic has so far played a total of 306 Bundesliga games (49 goals), 234 for Bayern and 72 for Hamburger SV, where he was between 1992 and 1998, initially in the youth team before breaking into the Bundesliga side. Following Patrick Ochs, Srdjan Lakic and Mateusz Klich, Salihamidzic is the ‘Wolves’ fourth new signing for the new season.
