Juventus - Parma Called Off After Tragic Fan Death

News on the incident is still sketchy at this stage, but it is understood that
the Parma fan was accidentally run over by a coach on his way to this afternoon
's game at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin.
There is no reason to believe that any hooliganism was involved in the fatality
, but the decision has been taken to call off the game as a precaution.
By a cruel twist of fate this tragedy takes place on the return matchday from
when Lazio fan Gabriele Sandri was accidentally shot dead by policeman at a moto
rway service station on November 11.
Full details of the incident will no doubt emerge later today.
