It’s been some time since I wrote in English. You know, it’s not that I don’t want to translate my thoughts from English to Mandarin, the thing is, different languages “emotes” different feel to what I wanna express, and so, it’s really quite a tough process. You end up writing something you think it’s close to what you wanna say, only to find fans saying that the translation is not accurate…hehe 好一段時間沒有用英文寫下自己的想法囉. 大家知道的，並不是我不想把我的想法翻譯成中文來表達. 而是，由不同的語言更能夠完整表達我所想要對大家說的意思. 所以對我而言這真的是一段相當艱敖的過程. 但每當寫完後好像已經把內心的想法全紓發出來了. 但從大家對我的回應好像跟我想說的有些落差...嘿嘿 Well… that’s interesting to me 好吧,這對我來說是很有趣的 But I thought I should write an entry that’s in English coz I have people from US, France and other places writing to say they like my music. I must say that’s really flattering Many thanks! I appreciate your appreciation and music really brings people closer than I know… Another reason being that Singaporeans tend to read English faster and better and being a Singaporean myself, naturally, I type English much faster too! 但我想我還是應該繼續用英文來表達, 因為我有從美國,法國甚或是其他國家的朋友也是以英文來說他們喜歡我的音樂. 我由衷的感謝大家對我的支持!! 我也很感激大家對我的鼓勵並且知道大家也因為我的歌聲而更緊密的聯繫在一起.... 另一個理由則是大家知道新加坡人習慣以英文來讀寫,較為迅速而且比較易懂, 身為新加坡人的我,當然也是以英文書寫較快囉! Frankly speaking, after typing this much, there’s REALLY not much content in this entry of mine…. 坦白說,寫了這麼多恐怕也沒有真正表達出我想說的意思.... And you know what? The truth is this: I just wanna say, I miss all of you … Wherever you are, here in Singapore, Taiwan, China, US, France, all over the world…. Love you all… 大家知道嗎?我真正想說的： 我只想說,我非常想念大家...無論你在新加坡,台灣,中國,美國,法國,或是世界各地.... 我真的好愛大家..... I hope you won’t mind my blabbering… 好啦,希望大家不會覺得我太嘮叨囉...
