一開始是曾參與珍娜前三張專輯製作的Ian Cross， 在接受BarefoorSound.com訪談時傳出來的消息： The new album is going to be great. It's a process. There's a lot in store, yet to come. I can't go into too many details but I think Janet Jackson's fans are going to be very excited about the new album, and I think people who don't know her as fans are going to be excited about it, too. The new paradigm of music, the real people in music now, are blending technology and music together. It's becoming more and more seamless." 結果2014/7/31開始各大報就開始報導珍娜新專輯快生出來了。 根據他的說法，音樂曲風會是偏向科技感。 隨後2014/8/2珍娜便在Twitter上面發佈： "If there is a new project, you'll hear it from my lips" 感覺是半否認新專輯的樣子。 去年2013年5月珍娜接受Billboard訪問時曾說新專輯正在進行中，但是不急～ "I am working on a new project now. We are creating the concept and initial thoughts on the music. I am excited about the direction we are taking. I don’t want to rush it... I don’t want to put a time constraint on the creative process." 就這麼過了一年，新專輯還是生不出來～ 看起來珍娜真的是不急啊～～ 近期幾個謠言： 2014年2月珍娜也謠傳跟老公離婚， 2014年5月曾謠傳珍娜會出席Billboard頒獎典禮與麥可的全像投影一起演出， 但是都被珍娜否認。 --
