Vieri正式成為 Sampdoria球員，一年約。 The outfit confirmed the switch this evening even if a move has been on the cards since before the World Cup started. The forward, whose father Roberto also appeared for the outfit, will be officially unveiled at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa on Friday. Whispers in the peninsula suggest that Vieri has agreed to lower his wages after holding talks with director general Beppe Marotta last month. Vieri, now 33, therefore returns to Italian football just six months after leaving for Monaco in the French First Division. The much-travelled forward quit Milan for the Principality in a bid to play regular first team football so that he could keep his World Cup hopes alive.
