Clubhouse confidential: The Indians wore the new s100 batting helmets for
Tuesday night's season opener as required by the last collective bargaining
agreement.
The helmets are made of aerospace-grade carbon fiber and can withstand
a 100 mph pitch.
The Indians, along with all big-league teams, wore them during spring
training.
The one change for players is that the helmet will be all blue and have a
block C insignia for home and away games.
Last year the Tribe's home helmets had Chief Wahoo on the front and
a red bill. On the road they were all blue with a block C.
MLB asked teams with two different sets of batting helmets to use just one
this season.

去年之前在主場帶的主場頭盔，今年沒採用的原因竟然是大聯盟要求頭盔都要同一個
樣式....
這...該說什麼呢?? 金鶯、老虎、國民的主客場頭盔不也是不一樣嘛??
大家覺得印地安人少了有笑臉圖案的頭盔是不是比較沒FU呢??
