Major League Baseball player Choo Shin-soo of the Cleveland Indians was voted
his team's Man of the Year by the Baseball Writers Association of America.
This year Choo became the first Asian to have a 20-20 season, meaning 20 home
runs and 20 steals. It was the best season of his career, with a batting
average of 0.300, 20 home runs, 86 runs batted in (RBIs), and 21 steals.
